We are currently seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Communications Coordinator within the Communications and Partnerships team of the REGARD Festival. Team spirit, authenticity, and creativity are core to our organization’s DNA.
Under the supervision of the Director of Communications and Partnerships, the candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the promotion of the 29th edition of REGARD - International Short Film Festival in Saguenay, taking place from March 19 to March 23, 2025. This will involve managing media advertising campaigns and social media efforts. The ideal candidate should demonstrate significant autonomy, impeccable organizational skills, and boundless creativity!
As a Communications Coordinator, the candidate will face the following challenges:
- Support the Director of Communications and Partnerships with their tasks.
- Create and coordinate various advertising campaigns in traditional and urban media, on social media, in educational institutions, etc.
- Collaborate with several media partners and public figures to promote the event.
- Design visuals for social media and signage using tools like Canva, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Work on the design and production of promotional items for the festival. - Coordinate the REGARD Shops during the event.
- Develop strategies for contests and promotions.
- Maintain the social media editorial calendar and create content (photos, videos, visuals).
- Manage community interactions by responding to messages and comments on social media.
- Write texts to create newsletters, blog articles, and posts.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have an interest in communications, advertising, cinema, and the Quebec artistic scene.
- Be comfortable expressing themselves and have near-perfect French writing skills (or very close!).
- Be creative and eager to oversee their own projects.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills and enjoy proposing ideas.
- Be organized and use task management tools effectively.
- Enjoy working in a team and want to be part of the REGARD family.
- Show professionalism in business relations.
- Be known for their autonomy and good humor.
- Be able to work under pressure and be flexible with schedules during the festival period.
- Be comfortable with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), Canva, and the Mac environment (an asset).
- Have a driver's license and a car (an asset).

The organization Caravane Films Productions produces the REGARD Festival and its associated activities.
