Synopsis

Geneviève is overwhelmed by the cleaning chores she has to accomplish at the emergency shelter where she is newly employed. On an ordinary morning, she is shocked to meet again with Camille, a young woman whom she believed to have succeeded in reinserting while being her social worker.

    Gaëlle Graton studied sociology and film production at Concordia University. She wanted to deepen her understanding of the world, to deepen her love for social drama as a cinematic genre and the representation of social issues in cinema. In 2020, her first short fiction script entitled L'AUTRE RIVE won a grant from Main Film's Tricycle program. In the spring of 2021, she directed this first film distributed by Welcome. In 2022, as a writer-director and/or producer, she developed two short films, including JUPONS, which she developed at Les Films de l'Hydre.
